Jan. 11, 2016 - PRLog -- Kids do not share everything with their parents, period. No matter how much they’re attached to their parents, kids either shelter themselves under fear or feel shy when it comes to sharing a few things. That’s true for adults also, right? We choose to lock a few things in our minds and give the key  to the people we trust and feel compatible with. The book To Touch and to be Touched, deals with the same concept. The book is written by Chinmayee Tripathy and is published by Notion Press. It is now available to readers all over the world.

The story of To Touch and to be Touched revolves around the life of Anurati, who shares her traumatic experience of child abuse with Ardhendu, the guy who madly loves her. Shattered by her experience, he unconsciously develops haphephobia and Anurati begins hating him.

In interesting turn of events, she studies physiotherapy and in the words of Mahatab, her lover, marries Ardhendu. While it is the guilt that forces Anurati to marry Ardhendu, it is his undying love for Anurati that Ardhendu marries her. But things go awry halfway when Ardhendu suspects Anurati and questions her fidelity, when he confronts the truth of a person named Mahatab he killed. What happens next? Will love succeed in the end?

The author, through this book, strongly nails the fact that parents should keep a check on their kids and work towards their emotional well-being. She feels that instances like child abuses rip a soul apart and that the trauma doesn’t stiffen with gender.

Chinmayee Tripathy, an Indian, born in the Millennium city Cuttack, Odisha, is presently residing in New Jersey. She married a Software Engineer in Bangalore after which self-effacingly took the charge of her household following the mommy track, yet enjoys pursuing a partial career as a Freelance Medical Transcriptionist. She is lucid and mischievous but strongly determined to make you laugh on her stale and lousy in-time jokes. This naughtiness within her achieved true treasure for life from her best buddies, a nick name “Destructive Mind – the DM.”
