Food Network Stars Battle on Dos Equis ZestFest Celebrity Chef Stage

DALLAS - Jan. 10, 2016 - PRLog -- This year the Dos Equis celebrity chef stage goes full throttle with reigning Zestfest champion and Dallas Celebrity Chef Sarah Penrod returning to compete against fellow Food Network Star, Louisiana’s own Loreal Gavin, The Butcher Babe.

The Texas vs Louisiana throw down will take place on Saturday, January 30 at 3:00_ and on Sunday the 31 at 1:00pm. This year the event will be formally judged by a celebrity panel including Sarah Blaskovich (Dallas Morning News), Kristi Nelson (NBC Anchor), and Katelyn Maida (KSCS DJ and Morning Show Host).

Sarah and Loreal will each be accompanied by a hand-picked team of local chefs, ranchers, and farmers from their home states showcasing the best indigenous regional dishes and the stories that bring the culture to life.

In true Southern fashion, the only rules-- there are no rules! Three decadently outrageous courses followed by dessert will be served to the celebrity judges and the first 50 Zestfesters in line at the Dois Equis Celebrity Chef Stage. Expect the best in entertainment as these rival southern belles pull out every trick in the book to insure they bring home the victory!
