Joseph Federico Announces 2016 NJ MET, Inc. ESD: Electrostatic Discharge Assoc. Membership Renewal

CLIFTON, N.J. - Jan. 8, 2016 - PRLog -- Joseph Federico NJ MET Vice President, announced the laboratory’s renewal of their membership in the Electrostatic Discharge Association for 2016

“NJ MET Inc. observes strict ESD procedures for all products processed in our laboratory and our engineering staff takes tremendous pride in the practice of the proper ESD procedures per DOD-STD-1686, DOD-HDBK-263 and ANSI ESD 20.20 when handling packages and component at ESD stations throughout our work environment,” said Joseph Federico from NJ MET’s laboratory headquarters located in Clifton, NJ.

“From the moment products arrive at our site to the moment they leave our lab, components are handled strictly according to the ESD procedures in our test plans,” Joseph Federico added.

NJ MET, Inc provides professional electronic component testing to the Commercial, Military, Aerospace, Industrial and Automotive fields worldwide.

In June 2012, NJ MET was assessed and registered by National Quality Assurance, USA in accordance with the provisions of ANSI/ESD S20.20-2007 and was recertified in June 2015.

Founded in 1982, the ESD Association is a professional voluntary association dedicated to advancing the theory and practice of electrostatic discharge (ESD) avoidance. From fewer then 100 members, the association has grown to more than 2,000 members throughout the world. The association is chartered to expand ESD awareness through standards development, educational programs, local chapters, publications, tutorials, certification and symposia.
