Unchurched Invited to Join 10-Week Course

ORMOND BEACH, Fla. - Jan. 7, 2016 - PRLog -- Unchurched people and those searching for answers to questions about life are invited to participate in a 10-week course starting Wednesday, January 13^th.

The course will be held at the Holy Child Church, 1225 W. Granada Blvd, Ormond Beach beginning at 6:00pm. The course is authored by Nicky Gumbel and has been heard in over 168 countries. The ALPHA course will include dinner.

The Alpha Course, known simply as Alpha, is an evangelistic course which seeks to introduce the basics of the Christian faith through a series of talks and discussions. It is described by its organizers as "an opportunity to explore the meaning of life".  Author Nicholas Glyn Paul "Nicky" Gumbel is an Anglican (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anglicanism) priest, incumbent (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Incumbent) and author. He is known as the developer of the Alpha Course (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alpha_Course), a basic introduction to Christianity supported by churches of many Christian traditions.Gumbel is the author of a number of books related to the Alpha Course, including Questions of Life, which has sold over 1,000,000 copies. It was voted "Christian Book of the Year" in 1994, and has been published in 48 languages.
