Shining Pediatric Dental Specialist Joins Solana Beach and Carlsbad Practice

Dr. Kate is a former staff member of Ann & Robert H. Lurie's Children's Hospital of Chicago and a family dental private practice where she specialized in treating young children and children with special needs.

Joining Great Smiles’ pediatric dentists Crystal Angelopoulos and William Rawlings, Dr. Kate will provide comprehensive primary, preventive and therapeutic oral health care for infants and children through adolescence, including those with special health care needs. Dr. Kate regularly leads dental studies to ensure she’s on the leading edge of evidence-based dental care.

Additionally, Dr. Kate regularly participates in smaller community events benefiting children, young women, and others in need.

Dr. Kate graduated from University of Michigan School of Dentistry before earning her credentials to become a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist from the University of Maryland. Dr. Kate is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD).

Dr. Kate enjoys pushing her limits by running obstacle races and marathons, enjoys cooking and trying new foods at every opportunity and has recently learned to salsa dance and crew for sailboat racing.
