European Tourism Academy Praises World Capital Of Culture And Tourism Record Of Spurring Growth

WORLD CAPITAL OF CULTURE AND TOURISM title should act as a booster for tourism in that place but in according with European Council on Tourism and Trade laws and regulation. Candidates must present commitment towards sustainable development.

BRUSSELS - Jan. 3, 2016 - PRLog -- The highly successful program of WORLD CAPITAL OF CULTURE AND TOURISM becomes an integral part of the Sustainable Development Goals Agenda as it strides to  open new opportunities for tourism promotion and trade and tourism economic driven development for states and communities across the world.

European Tourism Academy as the linchpin of World Capital of Culture and Tourism  salutes and supports this development that is making a great stride towards the fulfillment of humanity accepted Sustainable Development Goals.

As Professor Dr. Anton Caragea, European Council on Tourism and Trade stated in the official message on the European Academy Day: “Over the past decade, the members of the European Tourism Academy have made a significant contribution to strengthening the intellectual and economic potential of the world. Many prominent European scholars worked here. Their efforts contributed in large measure to the creation of the theoretical and practical foundations that enabled the development of world culture, tourism and diplomacy and contributed to our  ability to resolve cultural problems.

Today, in the context of modernising the world economy and managing its transition to an innovative path of development, it is important to significantly enhance the effectiveness of the Academy.

We need to ensure the widespread use of theoretical developments and technologies in tourism, diplomacy and culture. Of course we also need to expand relations between the Academy and academic centres in Europe and abroad.

WORLD CAPITAL OF CULTURE AND TOURISM program had marked outstanding succesess in the last span of time. According to a PR report among te latest winners:  Ashgabat-World Capital of Culture and Tourism and Turkmenistan capital received an impressive mass media coverage in television spots and printed press and radio shows in value of more than 16 million euros and Dushanbe, Tajikistan capital obtained a media coverage of more than 21 million euros reflecting their cultural achievements and world capital of culture and tourism status.
