METUCHEN, N.J. - Jan. 5, 2016 - PRLog -- To Be Continued…Book Boutique has announced the date for its Second Annual Pop Up Art Gallery.  On January 16, 2016 they will once again kick off the New Year with a celebration of all things old and new. The evening will bring this year’s attendees one of a kind art exhibits, refreshments and meet and greets with business owners Karen Winters and Sergio Gonzales and their newest vendors and adjuncts that will that embody what is already wonderful on Metuchen's Main Street and shed light on what is to come for 2016.

Together with event planner Melissa Peterson the shop has curated a collection of art for exhibit by local favorties and new, "never before shown locally" talent such as Mark Harris, Kim Adlerman,  Steve Beal, Ken Witkowski, Albertus Joseph, Tegan James, Mark Harris, Jim Toscano, David LaMorte, Eric Haake, Boris Reyt, and Albertus Joseph. Admission is free and guests will treated to live jazz and blues as performed by the Lee Caplan Trio and sweet treats from one of downtown’s newest eateries, Mangia Toscano.

“We’ve brought together elements of our most popular past events for this show and added a showcase of what is new at the bookstore and on Main Street in general for 2016.” said Peterson, who cites curiosity about the bookstore’s future and plans for the new year as the genesis for the addition of live music and a few select vendors to the show.  “If people want to know what To Be Continued has to offer the town this year for cultural events or nightlife or products and services this is a chance to find out first hand and directly from those who will be making it all happen.”

Last year’s pop up gallery hosted well over 100 guests over its four hour span and the hope is to attract even more this year by increasing the opportunities for vendors and artists that are new to the area. Some of the art will be for sale and at least three vendors will have one day only sales.  Vintage purses and accessories will be offered by Vivere Vintage, I Love Lamp will continue to clear out its inventory of handmade spirit bottle lighting and local artisan Lori Ellen will be premiering her latest collection for the first time ever in Metuchen.

Doors open at 6PM and music will begin at 7PM through the show’s closing at 10PM. Admission is FREE. For more information, visit the store in person at 420 Main Street in Metuchen or by email at tobecontinued@metuchen.us or call Ms Peterson directly at 732-439-4423.
