Archbishop Stepinac High School to Hold Winter Open House, Sunday, January 24

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - Dec. 28, 2015 - PRLog -- Visitors will learn first hand how Archbishop Stepinac High School,  the all-boys Catholic high school at 950 Mamaroneck Avenue, White Plains, prepares students for success at college and beyond at its Winter Open House. It will be held from 1 to 4 PM, Sunday, January 24.

Rev. Thomas Collins, Stepinac President and an alumnus (Class of ’79), said. “Parents and prospective students will get a better understanding of our unique capabilities including a best-practice use of technology, excellent academic and extracurricular programs and caring, committed and supportive faculty are the pillars of an outstanding education at Stepinac” He added: “They will discover how Stepinac’s innovative personalized blended learning environment including the first-of-its-kind all-digital textbook library continues the school’s 67-year tradition of preparing future leaders, starting with many of our graduates accepted into some of the nation’s most prestigious colleges and universities.”

The Open House will feature a welcome from school officials, presentations and displays. Visitors will be able to tour the facilities which have undergone significant improvements including the state-of-the-art Mastronardi Technology Center, new physics lab, library, the Major Bowes Theater, among others.

The event will conclude in the gym where teachers, coaches and students will be on hand to provide information on various course offerings, sports teams, clubs and other school activities.
