ISLAMORADA, Fla. - Dec. 24, 2015 - PRLog -- Welcome aboard the Dirty Boat, where exciting Islamorada fishing charters depart nearly every day of the year. Take advantage of the trip that fits your schedule! We offer all day, half-day, and ¾-day trips. The boat holds up to six anglers and sails the spectacular fishing grounds of the Florida Keys. A knowledgeable, friendly captain and crew make this excursion a memorable experience.

The half-day charter starts with a 20 to 45 minute trip along the ocean. The boat heads about ten miles offshore in search of the best fishing areas. If nothing seems to be happening in the first area, the anchor is pulled up and the boat moved to another location until the fish start biting. Fresh cut bait and a GoPro record of the adventure are included with each Dirty Boat charter. The half-day trip has about 3.5 hours of fishing.

The full day of Islamorada fishing starts with an hour’s trip about 15 to 20 miles offshore. The boat stops along the way to cast nets or sabiki rigs for live bait. The bait lures nibbles from the big Mahi-Mahi and Wahoo anglers look forward to landing. Once the bait is cut, the journey continues with the crew searching for schools of fish. A live bait rig is set up for you once a fishing area is located. Cast the line, get used to the feel of weight, and anticipate the hit.

A split charter requires 2 to 4 anglers and provides a way to split the cost of the trip. Besides individual savings, you’ll be among people with a common interest. Lifetime friendships have been known to result from the shared experience!

The village, nicknamed “Sportfishing Capital of the World”, is about halfway between Key West and Miami,. Islamorada fishing includes Mahi-Mahi , which migrate past the area in summer. Typical catches up to 25 pounds are sometimes topped with a 40- 50 pound fighter. Wahoo offers a good fight because of its speed. There’s no guarantee of landing a fish, but the crew will do their best to put the boat in an area where fish are located.

Send your favorite angler on an ocean fishing experience of a lifetime with a fishing charter gift certificate from Dirty Boat, docked at Robbie’s Marina in Islamorada. The recipient reserves the private or split charter when it’s convenient to travel. Introduce the young anglers in the family to the thrilling experience of ocean fishing.
