PRLog -- J Reuben Long Detention Officers and Staff raised money for Shoreline Behavioral Health Services by extending "No Shave November" into "No Shave December”. presenting John Coffin, Executive Director of Shoreline, $647, in memory of Officer Wanda Johnson-Jenkins who was also a Shoreline part-time employee at the Women's Recovery Center. The Women’s Recovery Center (WRC) is a residential treatment service operated by SBHS that provides comprehensive treatment services to women with psychoactive substance use disorders who are at risk of losing their children to foster care. The WRC’s goal is to provide a healthy recovery environment while giving residents the skills they need to remain alcohol and drug free and become better parents. The donated funds will assist women in recovery struggling during the holiday season as well as support the emergency fund for clients in need of emergency financial assistance.
