A resolution from the Ministry of Economy published in the official journal on September 3rd, 2015 has amended the official Mexican standard for the labeling of apparel and textile articles, NOM-004-SCFI- Implementation Postponed for Apparel and Textile Label Changes Standards NMX-A-2076-INNTEX- The effective date of this requirement has been postponed in order to give more time to manufacturers, importers and retailers to implement the necessary changes to meet the new labeling requirements and to exhaust the existing inventories with products labeled according to the previous standards.
