Little People With Big Challenges Foundation Saves Christmas In “The Nick of Time

MISSOURI CITY, Texas - Dec. 21, 2015 - PRLog -- Little People With Big Challenges Foundation are all set to host the 3^rd Annual Christmas For Families Holiday Adoption Program.  In addition to the foundation’s childhood obesity prevention programs, each yearthey provide Christmas gifts and holiday cheer to children from under-served families.  For the past two years they have selected participants through Houston Children's Charity's Holiday Adopt- A- Family Program and along with other children in select communities. With the help of community partners, board members and sponsors, LPWBC will be able to provide greater offerings this 2015 holiday season.

Denver Broncos Defensive End Antonio Smith has always been a key supporter and sponsor of Little People With Big Challenges Foundation. This year the organization's not so secret Santa strengthened their holiday program with a generous last minute donation.  After receiving the call, LPWBC CEO Antwonette Smith quickly assembled avid board members Jennifer N. Simpson, Missouri City Council Member-District A Yolanda Ford, and other active community partners in order to assemble the ultimate shopping experience for the children in the program.

Antwonette Smith and her philanthropic team love to see children healthy and happy. It's truly a blessing that she and the organization will have the capacity to impact more families this 2015 holiday season. This year, a few students from SHAPE Community Center's after school programs, Missouri City, and surrounding communities will have the opportunity to shop for presents at Wal-Mart by special invitation only. There will be a specified time for the children speed shop to select gift items with all expenses covered by Little People With Big Challenges Foundation.

LPWBC would like to thank community partners JNoS Public Relations, Missouri City Council-District A,The Missouri City Chamber of Commerce, ADT Wide Body Incorporated, 281 Swangin Customs, Crossing Point Church, Knight Time Management, State of Texas District 27 - State Rep Ron Reynolds, Harris Law Firm,Wal-Mart and My Brother's Keeper for collaborating to make this event happen post haste.
