She presents her personal view on sexuality in her memoir. “I look at my clients as friends who tell me things that they could not tell friends, wives, or girlfriends. My life as a prostitute motivated me to write my book, and my stories from my clients also had me motivated to write a novel about sex, relationships, and such things.”
