MIAMI - Dec. 17, 2015 - PRLog -- Primary care physician Paul Di Capua, M.D., MBA, MSHPM, has joined Baptist Health Medical Group, an organization of more than 180 physicians, as part of the Baptist Health Primary Care team at the Family Medicine Center at West Kendall Baptist Hospital, 15955 SW 96th St., Suite 200, Miami, Fla. 33196.

Dr. Di Capua specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of health issues, including simple and complex health concerns, internal medicine, chronic disease management, minor emergencies and healthy lifestyle choices. He has a special interest in public health policy and patient centered care.

Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Di Capua is a graduate of the Yale School of Medicine. He also has a Master of Business Administration degree from the Yale School of Management and received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University, where he was awarded a postgraduate Trustman Fellowship for a year of studying abroad. In addition, he holds a master’s degree in health policy and management from the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. Dr. Di Capua completed an internship at Stanford University and a residency at UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center.

Following his training, Dr. Di Capua worked in inpatient specialty services at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He has published more than 25 research papers in a variety of medical journals and was editor of a neuroscience textbook.

In addition to English, Dr. Di Capua is fluent in Spanish and Italian and conversant in French.
