Bastian Solutions Appoints Joe Zoghzoghy Manager of Mobile Robotics

Dec. 18, 2015 - PRLog -- Joe Zoghzoghy’s appointment as Bastian Solutions’ Mobile Robotics Manager was featured in Automation.com publication. The new role and business venture is a result of a rising need for mobile robots to pick orders in automated distribution centers.

“In working with several customers, we realized an opportunity and need for mobile robotic solutions that were not available in the current market,” explained Bill Bastian II, CEO of Bastian Solutions. “Based on requests from key customers it became necessary to build our team of experts. Joe is an excellent addition, bringing with him a vast knowledge of robotic systems and product development.”

Zoghzoghy has a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Southern Methodist University and a background in robotics, mechatronics, and electro-mechanical design. In his new role, he will oversee the design, development, and commissioning of Bastian Solutions’ new mobile robotic systems.

“Product development is a passion of mine and allows me to use my technical and analytics skills,” stated Zoghzoghy. “I am looking forward to the new challenge as well as the opportunity to work with a great team of engineers.
