Relief Materials Distributed by Sterlite Copper

TUTICORIN, India - Dec. 15, 2015 - PRLog -- Sterlite Copper is continuously working with the local administration in extending its helping hand for relief measures to the flood affected community in and around Tuticorin by distributing food packets, offering medical assistance, dewatering pump and providing gravel to shore up bunds of neighbourhood water bodies.

As part of flood relief measures, Sterlite Copper has distributed relief materials towards basic requirements such as bedding and cooking utensils to the 100 affected families in Mudukkukadu, Tuticorin on 11.12.2015. On behalf of Sterlite Copper, Mr Pradeep Nair, Head - Engineering Services of Sterlite Copper distributed the relief materials to the beneficiaries in the presence of Corporation Ward Councillor Ms Jeya Selvaraj.

Followed by that, Sterlite Copper conducted ‘Free Medical Camp’ held at Mudukkukadu and Soosai Nagar. The team of doctors from Sterlite Copper screened the participants of the camp. Free physician consultation and medical tests were done for the people participated in this camp. 448 people benefitted through this camp. Free medicines were distributed to the people who suffered from various physical ailments.
