ITTS Empowering Women Internationally

COCOA, Fla. - Dec. 14, 2015 - PRLog -- Cocoa, FL – I TALK TO STRANGERS® (ITTS) is a social movement bringing the world together through conversation founded by Robbie Stokes, Jr. in 2012. Stokes had an idea to start conversations with people he did not know, so he quit his job on Capitol Hill to travel the globe and document what would happen if he simply talked to strangers.

Teaming up with international community-based organizations, the ITTS YouTube channel will follow the movement and the development of social programs: Plenumigo, led by Natalia Bialobrzewska from Poland, and Project ‘I SMILE’, led by Malaysian native, Lakshanika Lammeera Shenkeri on an incredible journey filled with positive stories of what can happen when you dare to share with a stranger.

“My mother taught me a genuine value for women. Supporting women-led programs embrace a true meaning of leadership beyond genders and a dedication to getting the job done effectively,” shares Stokes.

“Only 5.2% of Fortune 500 companies CEOs are women. I work with ITTS because their leadership selection process is based on qualities and skills rather than gender or race,” adds ITTS researcher Lammeera.

Beginning Dec 1, 2015, ITTS has coordinated a global donation campaign called ‘A Gift That Keeps On Giving’ to support the ITTS 2016 global activity agenda of projects, programs, and events that will educate youth and promote positive conversations among diverse groups of people.

ITTS ends their latest video (goo.gl/iY5bkV) with a global call-to-action to send a small gift that can create a global change with their kickoff social media campaign titled #letshelpNika, a project that is inspired by Grammy-Award winning artist Alicia Keys.
