South Florida Entrepreneur Introduces Innovative, Wearable Carry-All

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. - Dec. 13, 2015 - PRLog -- Local entrepreneur and shop owner Bill Glazer is launching a wearable carry-all designed to keep personal items safe while on the move.

“Get Waisted” (www.GetWaisted.info) is a stylish, secure wallet that fits snugly around the waist.  Starting December 19, Glazer will be testing the product locally at a special “mini store” within the Glazer’s retail shop, Glam Sparkle n’ Glitz (211 Commercial Blvd. in Lauderdale by the Sea).

Get Waisted is the pet project of Glazer and Rob Lembersky, longtime friends and business associates. Glazer and Lembersky met at U.S. Specialty Retailing and were the two top retail executives for Canadian company Reitmans’ U.S. operations.

The pair developed a sleek, fashionable belt that zips around the waist, with a pocket to hold a smartphone, two zipper pull compartments and an outlet for easy headphone access. Get Waisted is manufactured with high-quality, washable lycra fabric and is lightweight but strong enough to hold phones, keys, money and other personal items while a person is on the go.

“Get Waisted is the ultimate alternative to that cumbersome and outdated fanny pack,” Glazer said.

The belt was designed for anyone with an active lifestyle — from the busy mom on the go to runners and athletes, tourists and any others who want to free themselves as they move around.

“We carefully designed every detail of this product so it would balance a person’s need for convenience, flexibility, comfort and style,” Glazer said.

Glazer and Lembersky said the choice to debut Get Waisted in Lauderdale by the Sea and Glazer’s store was a “no brainer.”

“A tourist hub, the location has a global reach, with customers from all 50 states, Canada, Europe and South America,” Lembersky said. “Testing Get Waisted first here in Lauderdale by the Sea will help us navigate the future direction of our product mix.”

Get Waisted will be available nationwide in January.
