CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Dec. 10, 2015 - PRLog -- Radix Bay, a world-class business IT consulting and solutions provider, announced it has successfully completed a SharePoint site migration project for a large U.S. Transportation Company.

The client is a global container terminal company that provides port management and terminal operations to liner shipping and port customers.

The client’s primary IT change management process was being hosted on an outdated Microsoft Windows 2003 server infrastructure utilizing Microsoft SharePoint. Multiple failed efforts to migrate were attempted by the client.

Radix Bay was called in to analyze the current state and complete the migration of the SharePoint site to a new server environment. The migration included updates to all workflows and InfoPath forms with new server names and URLs.

“Our Microsoft team had the experience and processes needed to provide the client with a seamless site migration, end to end testing and organizational integrity,” said Greg Lovette, CEO of Radix Bay.

Migrating to a new server environment gave the client the ability to shut down their old and unsupported server and move off of a network domain that was being decommissioned.
