Alexander Mediation Group’s Monthly Divorce Support Group Next Meeting January 4th

CHESTER, N.J. - Dec. 8, 2015 - PRLog -- The support group is sponsored by Alexander Mediation Group and co-facilitated by Rachel Alexander, Esq. and licensed therapist Sharon Buck. Throughout the two years the group has been held, it has provided assistance and comfort to divorcing men and women in Morris County and surrounding communities.

Divorcing people have had too few resources for support for too long. Some support groups for divorce are through religious institutions which do not feel comfortable to everyone, others take a negative or dogmatic approach. Alexander Mediation Group offers an alternative. You can expect a healthy turn out and insightful discussion throughout the 1.5 hour duration.

“Holidays are a stressful time of year for everyone, but for those going through divorce, holidays can be especially fraught with triggers,” says Rachel Alexander. “It’s a good idea to get additional support during this time, whether you think you need it or not!”

At a group meeting you have the opportunity to ask questions, raise issues, and listen to the experiences of others. Participants gain new insights and fresh approaches to their situations.  Although each divorce experience is unique, many people find that in sharing their stories, a sense of identification emerges, as well as feelings of belonging and relief.
