Upstate Fire & Water Restoration Assists in the Restoration of the Clinton Hotel

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - Dec. 8, 2015 - PRLog -- The Historic Clinton Hotel was recently renovated and restored to provide shelter for veterans.  Upstate Fire & Water Restoration was proud to be part of this renovation, which involved numerous other contractors and firms which donated time and materials in the name of helping veterans in need.

According to an article about the renovation, the hotel itself was in need of major renovation in order to accommodate not only veterans, but low income tenants in need of affordable housing.  Florida resident and Binghamton native Charles Fox worked to recruit several area companies to assist in the restoration effort.  The results were beyond what many thought possible.  One veteran expressed his gratitude that he and his comrades can now live together and support each other.

“One thing I’ve found that ‘average Joes’ don’t fully understand is the stuff they experience haunts you forever,” the veteran said, “so it’s good to have people you can share it with.”
