Rad New Online Platform Supports Designers From Africa

MANHATTAN, N.Y. - Dec. 8, 2015 - PRLog -- VERSE 20 has launched a Kickstarter campaign to support the development of a platform that fully integrates compelling content, and storytelling around African fashion brands. The platform features a cross-category offering of seasonal clothing, jewelry and accessories from designers including South Africa's Rich Mnisi, and Nigeria's Omilua.

"The goal is to create a new, interesting and unique experience for customer, while introducing them to the best emerging brands and new talent in African fashion" says VERSE 20 founder Minne Atairu.

VERSE 20 dares the global consumer to throw out whatever preconceieved notions they have about African fashion, and see it in a new perspective. The online platform will platform with bloggers, stylists and industry professionals to curate items from designers collection.

VERSE 20 firmly believes that designers in Africa deserve support, guidance and a platform to showcase their creativity especially  as they face civil unrest, electricity shortages and low funding opportunities.
