Children's Magical Ball 2015 2 Angie Campeau, CFC's Surrogacy Case manager, located in London, will be attending this amazing event with her husband and two children next week. Angie is currently working with CHF's Winter Ball staff to arrange a donation to a Family that is currently being supported by CHF, as Canadian Fertility Consultants wants to make sure that their donation is put to the best use. CHF's Winter Ball supports Child Life programming delivered by a group of specialists who help children and their families to understand, cope with and recover optimally from the difficult aspects of illness and hospitalization. Last year, Children’s Magical Winter Ball raised more than $120,000 (net) to support the Child Life Program at Children’s Hospital. While we celebrate this achievement, there is still much more that can be done to help children. Leia Swanberg, owner and CEO of Canadian Fertility Consultants, is commited to supporting community initiatives this Holiday Season in lieu of sending Holiday cards to Intended parents, Surrogates, and Industry partners. This season, CFC will be supporting this organization, as well as a Women's shelter in Cobourg, Ontario, and a Food Bank in Parksville, British Columbia. Canadian Fertility Consultants' mandate is to Help People Become Parents, and while we are doing that, we Love the idea of partnering with local community partners to donate our time, as well as money, ensuring that we are always giving back to those in the greatest need. During the Holiday Season, CFC's owner Leia Swanberg encourages her staff to also get involved, allowing for paid time off to pursue Volunteering opportunities in their communities.
