Masonic Lodge Helping to Make Christmas A Reality!

LOS ANGELES - Dec. 4, 2015 - PRLog -- True Workers Lodge #7 Ancient Free and Accepted Masons, a Masonic Lodge operating under charter granted by The Most Worshipful Sons of Light Grand Lodge Ancient Free and Accepted Masons Jurisdiction of California, has continued its partnership with the United Stated Postal Service by participating in its annual Operation Santa® Program.

The U.S.P.S. Operation Santa® Program is where children, or even adults, write actual letters addressed to Santa Clause or the North Pole asking for various gifts or items of need.  Those letters are kept by the Postal Service where volunteers come to a designated postal location, read those letters and decide which ones they wish to personally fulfill. The volunteers return to the post office with the fullfillment which is then mailed back to the return address given by the person that originally wrote the letter.

According to a flyer generated by the Postal Service, "For generations, writing a letter to Santa Claus has been a tradition during the holidays. And for some kind-hearted folks, answering those letters has also been a holiday custom for over 100 years..."

This year True Workers Lodge #7 has designated Bro. Daren Lee, their newly elected Junior Warden, to spear head the selection committee assigned to decide which letters are answered by the Lodge.  Bro. Daren Lee was not available for comments for this press release but the Lodge, through the directions of its Worshipful Master - Bro. Omar Scaife, has been helping the community since its inception in 1945.

True Workers Lodge #7 is an outstanding beacon of what Masonic Lodges have been doing in their respective communities.  While their still is maintained private segregation between certain Masonic Lodge groups, True Workers Lodge #7 does not permit nor allow those old internal issues to hinder their Masonic training and community service.
