Cornerstone Shop & Gallery Helps Wisconsin Bundle Up this Winter Season

LAKE GENEVA, Wis. - Dec. 2, 2015 - PRLog -- Lake Geneva’s Cornerstone Shop & Gallery invites customers to drop off new or gently used women’s suit jackets and winter coats, and men’s sweaters, winter coats and gloves in support of Wisconsin Department of Tourism’s “The Big Bundle Up” campaign.

This is the fifth year of the statewide collection program. To date, the program has collected more than 49,300 winter items to help warm up families in need. In addition to the Cornerstone Shop  & Gallery, other collection sites include Lake Geneva Convention & Visitors Bureau, Walworth County Visitors Bureau, and Travel Wisconsin Welcome Centers throughout the state. With the spirit of the holiday season upon us, donating winter items is the perfect way to give to Wisconsin families in need. A box will be located in the Cornerstone Shop  & Gallery for donors to drop off warm clothing items. All items donated at this location will be given to The Time Is Now, Twin Oaks Shelter, Walworth County Resource Center & Food Pantry, and VIP Services.

In addition, the Cornerstone Shop will offer a coupon for 20% off any in-stock clothing, jewelry or men’s gift item for the donation of a women’s suit jacket, winter coat, men’s winter coat, sweater or gloves. The promotion is limited to one coupon per customer, but the store will accept additional items for donations.

“We feel truly blessed and strive to give back to the local community throughout the year,” said Karin Bennett, owner of the Cornerstone Shop & Gallery. “This is the fourth consecutive year we’ve participated, and we like that The Big Bundle Up allows items collected to stay in our community to help keep local residents warm this winter.”
