SEATTLE - Dec. 1, 2015 - PRLog -- Windows, Doors & More (WDM), a Seattle-based window and door distributor and showroom has been recognized with the 2015 Dealer of the Year Award for Overall Excellence and Leadership in the Professional Market. The award, presented through a program of Window & Door Magazine, is sponsored by the Window & Door Dealers Alliance (WDDA), a national business organization.

“I am thrilled we have been recognized with this honor as it is a result of the efforts of every member of our team,” said Rick Locke, President, WDM. “We work with great clients and we are honored to play a role in the successes they achieve with their projects.”

The annual Dealer of the Year awards program recognizes excellence in a variety of areas including marketing, customer service, showrooms and community service. The Overall Excellence—Leadership in the Professional Market award received by WDM honors a dealer that primarily serves builders and contractors. Judging criteria for the award includes consistent customer satisfaction, notable business ethics, commitment to the community and additional categories that identify the potential recipient as a positive contributor to the overall reputation and development of the window and door industry.

WDM brings a breadth and depth of offerings combined with experience and professionalism to its work with architects, builder, remodelers and homeowners. WDM also offers support and opportunities for education to the architectural community with its lunch-and-learn series, jobsite visits, and in-house consultations. Architects and designers receive product education that includes information on materials, performance, capabilities and design configurations and can also receive a continuing education unit.

In July, WDM was also recognized by Window & Door as a “dream showroom” for its breadth and depth of product on display. Technology use was another criteria and one WDM offering includes a solution with integrated wireless security sensors in windows and doors with the option for professional monitoring or self-monitoring on a portable mobile device. WDM’s large conference room video display also enables sharing of project drawings and product comparisons for client and customer meetings.

“Our goal at WDM is to provide a range of top quality products and offerings, along with the best customer service possible to build lasting relationships with our clients and suppliers alike,” said Locke.
