BrightStar Credit Union Holds Annual Holiday Toy Drive

SUNRISE, Fla. - Dec. 1, 2015 - PRLog -- BrightStar Credit Union, one of the largest credit unions in South Florida with more than 54,000 members, is partnering with the Homeless Education Assistance & Resource Team (H.E.A.R.T.) for its annual holiday toy drive. BrightStar will be accepting unwrapped toys through Monday, Dec. 14, at its headquarters in Sunrise and at each of its seven locations in Broward County.

“BrightStar is proud to partner with H.E.A.R.T. to bring cheer to the Broward community during this holiday season,” said Dustin Jacobs, BrightStar Credit Union vice president of marketing. “As proud citizens of this community, our members and employees have been extremely generous with our toy drive throughout the years, and we would like to continue that tradition.”

The “Hearts for the Holidays” charity event, sponsored by H.E.A.R.T., aims to get new toys and clothing into the hands of the homeless students of Broward County Public Schools during the holiday season. This is the seventh year BrightStar holds a toy drive in support of less fortunate families in the community. A toy drive drop box has been placed at each BrightStar location for people to donate unwrapped toy donations.
