Decks Unique, awarded Contractor of the Year by NARI

COMMACK, N.Y. - Dec. 1, 2015 - PRLog -- Decks Unique Inc of Commack, NY was awarded a COTY (Contractor of the Year) award from the NARI-NY (National Association of the Remodeling Industry) chapter at last night's awards dinner.  Decks Unique won for Residential Exteriors exceeding $200,000.  The Bay Club residential complex is in New York City and was recognized as one of the 10 Best Residential Building in New York City.  Located in Bayside, the facility has over 1,000 premier condominiums.

The facility's management and board embarked upon providing a new common area outside their fitness and indoor pool in 2013.  The project was approved by the associations' board of directors in 2014 and was completed in December of 2014.  The deck featured Trex's Tree House color decking with Vintage Lantern color border.  The project included a number of white pergolas, stairs, handicap ramps, railing, fencing, tree boxes and bulkheads capped with Trex Vintage Lantern Deck Boards.  The project which required over a tractor trailer load of decking materials took just under four weeks to complete.
