PRLog -- More than 60,000 people visited Fantasy of Trees, November 25-29, raising more than $300,000 for East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. Hospital staff is still busy calculating ticket sales and donations, but the preliminary numbers reveal another successful fundraiser. Funds raised during this year’s five-day event will be used to purchase equipment for the Emergency Department, including patient monitors, a central monitoring system and a Kidspace Game System.
Over the last 31 years, Fantasy of Trees has raised more than $7 million to benefit children from East Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, Southeast Kentucky and Western North Carolina. It’s all thanks to the help of millions of visitors, generous sponsors, businesses and community groups.
Hospital staff and volunteers spent Monday, November 30, delivering more than four hundred fully decorated Christmas trees, which were purchased during Fantasy of Trees. For more information call Children’s Hospital Marketing Department at 865-541-8276, or visit
