London Stage Star From "Godspell" and Television Actress, Nonye Toria Joins Star 1

SUNNYVALE, Calif. - Nov. 30, 2015 - PRLog -- Victoria Nonye Okocha aka Nonye Toria was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. At age 13, she arrived in England where she studied music at St Dominic’s Primary School and later joined a Motown band at East Berkshire College Langley in 2006 where she performed covers from The Temptations, Johnny Cash and Old School Blues. Two years later she went on to perform in the musical "Godspell" for the Queen of England singing the lead song "Day By Day", the Queen’s personal favorite. Later that year she also appeared in Britain’s largest soap opera “East Enders" as well as many other musical productions and shows.

In 2011, Nonye spent three months in Liberia working with IEDA Relief (International Emergency Development Agency) as she enjoys the Humanitarian services. Nonye Toria believes in the spirituality of music and its uses to heal the soul and to heal the earth. More recently, Nonye has focused her creative energies by recording an EP to be released early in 2016 along with a new supporting video.
