VERBIER, Switzerland - Nov. 27, 2015 - PRLog -- A photography competition between staff at luxury ski resorts across Europe has uncovered talented amateur photographers and an incredible insight into chalet life.

The employees of Bramble Ski are lucky enough to work in some of the most beautiful locations on the planet, and are taking amazing pictures on their phones and cameras every single day. The award winning luxury ski company thought a healthy dose of competitiveness among the photography enthusiasts would deliver some remarkable results.

Running from December 2014 to March 2015, Bramble Ski’s team entered images from their luxury resorts in Austria, France and Switzerland. The photos were posted on the company’s Facebook page, with comments and likes helping to determine the monthly winners. At the end of the season, an overall champion was chosen and rewarded with ‘the world’s most versatile camera’, a GoPro4.

Barry Cox, co-owner of Bramble Ski, said: ‘Over the years we’ve noticed that many of our staff have a wonderful skill of capturing the inspiring locations where we live and work. We wanted to share photos of life in the mountains as well as behind-the-scenes shots to show the services our talent teams provide’.

Over 150 entries were made during the competition, with each shot showcasing different sides of living and working in luxury chalets in Zermatt, Verbier, Tignes, Cras Montana, St. Anton, Gstad, and Lech. Blessed with some of the most incredible landscapes in the world, the staff submitted an array of photographs that generated a huge amount of interest on the Facebook page.

The eventual winning shot, with 127 likes and numerous votes on the Bramble Ski Facebook page, is ‘Frozen Reflection’ by Layla Staegerman. The shot, taken in Verbier, shows the breathtaking mountainous landscape, as seen through the reflection of a wine glass.
