By: Mar Vista art walk/Steppin Into the Art of Mar Vi

LOS ANGELES - Nov. 25, 2015 - PRLog -- On December 3 from 6 pm to 9 pm, Steppin into the Art of Mar Vista will have its inaugural celebration on the one-mile stretch of Venice Boulevard between Inglewood Boulevard and Beethoven Street.  Designated as one of Mayor Garcetti’s “Great Streets” of Los Angeles, the nine-block strip will celebrate all the arts – visual, musical, spoken and movement – as well as its history as one of Los Angeles’ oldest artist colonies.

Steppin Into the Art of Mar Vista is a joint effort of local environmental nonprofit Green Communications Initiative (GCI) and the unofficial “Mayor of Mar Vista art”, painter Mitchelito Orquiola, with enthusiastic support of CD-11 councilmember Mike Bonin and the local neighborhood council.
