SEATTLE - Nov. 25, 2015 - PRLog -- Microsoft has always been focused on making tools and frameworks available for the software development community.  Today, Microsoft software is now a core component of millions of software solutions addressing a diverse set of needs across a number of industries all over the world. Software companies that make products based on Microsoft technology are called Independent Software Vendors (ISVs). In order to help these ISVs grow their business, Microsoft has recently launched a website with recommendations and tutorials for structured business development.

“We are always looking for new and innovative ways to help our partners grow their business,” says Jennifer Tomlinson, Sr. Marketing Manager with Microsoft. “Many of our ISVs can benefit from selling though resellers, and this new website offers a number of great resources and tools to help our ISV community successfully grow their businesses.”

In addition to the expanded set of resources, tools and videos, the website will also provide some of Hans Peter’s existing whitepapers on channel development.

“Using a channel of independent companies to resell, implement and/or service customers has long been a tradition in the history of the software industry.” says Hans Peter Bech, managing partner at TBK Consult. “For some software companies, such as Microsoft, the channel has been a major contributor to global success, but for others, making it work can be a challenge. The objective of my new book and of most of my writing is to use my own successful experience helping others getting it right the first time. I am delighted that Microsoft has reached out to me and that my content now can reach the largest ISV community in the world.”
