Dates and Venue Announced for 2016 Data Centres North Conference and Exhibition

LONDON - Nov. 24, 2015 - PRLog -- Billed as the premier conference for the computing behind the Northern Powerhouse, Data Centres North 2016 is applicable to everyone from those involved with smaller server-rooms and coms-rooms to the staff responsible for Operations, NOC, IT, Networking and Facilities Management, at large co-location, corporate and cloud data centres.

Data Centres North 2016 will be held at the home of Lancashire County Cricket Club – Manchester’s world-famous Emirates Old Trafford cricket ground and conference centre. Strategy Stream

This Conference Stream, which operates throughout the two full conference days will focus on the the highly important Northern Regional Strategy including Development Drivers, Market Drivers, Finance, People and Opportunities.

Operations Stream

Covering the whole remit of design and operations from the latest updates on standards, the relevance (or otherwise) of PUE in smaller data centres and server rooms, and all of the hardware and services from cabling through cooling, power, UPS, monitoring, DCIM, Construction Products Regulation & how it applied to DCs, Codes and Standards.

**New** Mission Critical Stream

The data centre is a critical element of many mission-critical organisations.

Many of those organisations, for example, nuclear, pharmaceutical, mining, petrochemical, healthcare and of course banking and finance have long-term experience and expertise in running mission-critical operations.

The Mission Critical Stream at Data Centres North 2016 will look at what we in the data centre fraternity can learn from the hard-learned secrets to success that those businesses are kindly willing to share for the greater good.

We will have speakers from a number of these mission-critical operations where we will hear how they conduct their business and operations and discussion panels will then allow us to all interact to see how we can apply their long-term experience to our own rather young and less experienced (in mission critical terms) industry.
