Elf Storage Comes To Devon and Cornwall This Christmas
UK storage provider Dainton Self Storage are offering to help parents in Devon and Cornwall hide their children's Christmas presents this year with free 'elf storage'.
Following recent crisis talks at the North Pole workshops Dainton Self Storage have offered to help by storing presents for the children of the South West at their storage facilities at various locations in Devon and Cornwall.
Speaking on behalf of the storage company, Lisa Bennett, Dainton's Elf Storage Area Manager, said "We were only too happy to help Father Christmas and his elves manage their stock of toys. Their need is no different to a lot of our commercial customers who often make use of our safe and secure storage facilities at peak times."
“As the countdown to Christmas begins, we are also offering members of the public free storage for their presents too. We all remember as children the excitement of Christmas and the strong temptation to have a sneaky look for the presents our parents may have hidden around the house. You can be confident that with Elf Storage your presents are safe from curious children and partners!”
In return for free storage of Christmas presents, Dainton Elf Storage are asking for a small voluntary contribution of just £1 to help them meet their fundraising goal for Children's Hospice South West.
Shaun Duncan, Dainton's Operations Director, said “Christmas is a magical time for children, however through our work with Children's Hospice South West we know that for some families it can also be challenging and they need extra special care. Elf Storage is our way of raising awareness of the Charity's very valuable services that benefit local families throughout the year.”
Dainton will store the Christmas gifts in their secure storage units ready for collection on or before 24th December. Elf Storage is perfect for storing bikes or a collection of smaller presents. The self storage company has already had enquiries about the service and is confident of exceeding their fundraising goal.
Naomi Dymond, Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser at CHSW, says: “Many parents of the children we provide care for feel overwhelmed by the competing demands they are juggling at this time of year – the round the clock needs of their child, the anticipation of brothers and sisters and the challenge of preparing all the festive fare. This is why our hospices remain open throughout the year – so we can be there for families, whenever they need us, to provide much needed support.”
