JBGoodwin, REALTORS® and sales training expert Jason Edwards partner to build a world-class career development program.
This is the second partnership between the two. In 2006 Jason delivered an 8-week sales training course to JBGoodwin agent partners, many of whom continually reference that training today. “It’s been incredibly fun to get reaquainted with everyone and see the growth that has happened. JBGoodwin, REALTORS® is a historic company in central Texas and I’m honored to have the opportunity to build a world-class training and coaching division with them. Our intention is to build a system that can guide and support a REALTOR® from rookie to retirement.”
Initial discussions during the summer revolved around bringing Jason to JBGoodwin offices for a few speaking and training engagements. The more J.B. and Jason spoke, the more they realized they share similar views on developing high producing real estate salespeople who actually fulfill the vision they had in their minds when they first got licensed. After several thoughtful planning sessions, the two agreed to a much more involved partnership. “We have been recognized both within and outside the industry for our phenomenal commitment to career development and professional enhancement. In his days as an active REALTOR®, Jason Edwards was the youngest person listed on the Austin Business Journal's Top 50 agents list. In 2002 he was featured on the cover of REALTOR Magazine for the "30 Under 30" feature which has become the magazine's most popular yearly feature. After 13 years in the field as a REALTOR®, he began speaking and training for the Floyd Wickman Team and earned the rank of Master Trainer faster than anyone in the organization's history, where his students would regularly increase their production over 200%. He has traveled extensively to deliver training programs for Keller Williams Realty and most recently Jason has spent more of his time working with salespeople on their mindset. Specifically, Jason helps people bridge the gap between knowing what they need to do to succeed and actually doing it. He is a tennis and music fan and will talk your ear off about both Serena Williams and Madonna. When not figuring out where to see Serena play or how to follow Madonna around the world on tour, Jason spends his time working out, reading every personal development book he can get his hands on and enjoying life with his partner Jon and dog Chug!
