Celebrating Wisdom – UG Batch – 3 Induction Day at IPER Bhopal

 
Nov. 23, 2015 - PRLog -- The 3rd Batch of UG stepped in at IPER on 4th August 2015 which offers various management and undergraduate courses in Bhopal.  From the past 19 years, this institution is the most preferred and finest management school in Central India and provides quality education to their students.

This Induction Day was celebrated as “Celebrating Wisdom” at IPER. The program started with the assembling of students for collecting their study kit and I-D cards. The program was inaugurated the Chairman of Chaitanya Shiksha Samiti, the Parent body of IPER group of Institutions Shri K. J. Rawatani, by lighting the lamp and seeking blessings from Goddess Saraswati. Secretary, Chaitanya Shiksha Samiti, Shri R. K. Sadhwani, Treasurer, Chaitanya Shiksha Samiti, Mr. Narendra Kumar, and the Group Director Dr. Amarjeet Singh Khalsa also lighted the lamp. Thereafter IPER UG’s HOD Prof. (Dr.) Upasana Sharma welcomed the Board of Directors by floral invites.

Welcome speech was delivered by Dr. Amarjeet Singh Khalsa, Group Director, IPER group of Institutions, he explained the system adopted by IPER for enhancing the knowledge and skills required for competing in the ever growing business world. He stressed the need for the new batch to adopt this system to become successful in their career ahead. He also gave the students a mantra of life “Either we work hard for these five years and enjoy remaining part of life; else we only enjoy these five years and suffer whole life.

Inaugural speech was delivered by Shri K. J. Rawtani, Chairman, Chaitanya Shiksha Samiti, parent body of IPER, blessed the students and said that IPER has a legacy of delivering academic as well as practical knowledge and the same has been successful over the years.

Thereafter Shri R. K. Sadhwani, Secretary, Chaitanya Shiksha Samiti shared his vast experience of life by inspiring the new students to Dream big, not with closed eyes but with eyes set upon goals in those dreams.

IPER’s legacy was shown through audio-video presentation by Strategic Group Member Prof. Mahesh Soni remembering the old times and calling upon the new students to see the journey through your heart and not just by eyes for getting inspiration to join such rich legacy of IPER.

For developing the students through their Under Graduate course of three years, highly qualified and experienced faculty Members will strive hard to achieve it. This was elaborated by Dr. Vaibhav Lowlekar, Strategic Group member while introducing the faculty who will teach the students over the year.

Starting the acquaintance of new students with IPER UG programme, Dr. Upasana Sharma, HOD IPERUG, explained the CCE (evaluation) System followed for the under graduate students. Mentor – mentee system of IPER was explained by Dr. Hersh Sharma, Strategic Group Member and Alternate career program for developing the inherent talents of the students and which is aimed at career readiness of the students, was explained by Prof. Mahesh Soni.

The session took a break for Lunch and the time was also utilized by respective faculties to facilitate college visit of the students of different courses and showing them the additional facilities like IT lab,Accounts Department, library  and cafeteria etc. at IPER.

Life @ IPER an entertainment program started with paying Tribute to Dr. Abdul Kalam, former President of India, who passed away recently. The tribute included his visual glimpses along with narration by two senior students of IPER BM MAM course. This was followed by Skit on ‘Anti Ragging’ by group of eight senior students of IPER Commerce course and another Skit on ‘Life at IPER’ was performed by nine senior students of IPER BBA course. This was followed by Indo western dance by group of five senior students of Honors stream of Commerce course. Thereafter, Bhangra dance was performed by eight senior students of the Honors stream of Commerce course, followed by western ‘Dobstep’ solo dance by senior student of Honors stream of Commerce course.

There is no event or program will complete if there are no mind games, following the pattern, Senior students of IPER UG organised various games for the new comers for them to get familiar with the ambience of IPER college. Activity ‘Towering’ (which required preparing the tallest and strongest tower with straws) + Activity ‘Bandhan’ (which required students to untangle a rope held by each of them bringing out leadership skills in students) was executed at Seminar Hall with more than 50 students participating in it. The winning teams were suitably awarded.

Activity ‘Towering’ + Activity ‘Follow the leader’ (which included students to be blond folded and following their leader without blind fold who guides them in picking up objects placed in their path and putting them in bucket) was executed in BBA class room with 52 new students participating in it. The winning teams were suitably awarded.

Activity ‘Towering’ + Activity ‘Tower wants power’ (which included students to make creative object with balloon joined together and standing on its own) was executed in BM class room with 50 students participating in it. The winning teams were suitably awarded.

With all these fun and activities, the new students went home with fond memories of their first day in IPER College.
