Sac Gamers Expo is bringing video gaming to Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Nov. 20, 2015 - PRLog -- Sacramento, Calif. – Sac Gamers Expo will host its inaugural show at the Scottish Rite Center on Dec 13. It’s not just a gathering of all things video game related, but a celebration of video game culture and its history.

Sac Gamers Expo is proud to present Roger Craig Smith! Smith has performed as the voice of Chris Redfield in the Resident Evil video games. Among his other credit are Ezio Auditore da Firenze in the Assassin's Creed video games; as Deidara in the Naruto: Shippuden animated series and video games; Batman in the Batman: Arkham Origins video game; Steve Rogers/Captain America in several animated series and video games; and as the current English voice of Sega mascot Sonic the Hedgehog!

Other guests at the show include many well-known YouTubers such as Andre Meadows of Black Nerd Comedy; Sean Long of Toy and Game Reviewer; Rich Alvarez and Chris Muller of RMA Productions, game designers (Brian Linville, founder of Stigma Games; Russell Barba, an early 90s Sega game designer) and Cory Vincent and Aaron Carter, the hosts of Sacramento’s own video game podcast “Videogame BANG!” All of our guests will be participating in panels and FREE autograph sessions!

Event highlights include an exhibitor room full of vendors, artists and independent game developers. There will also be video game tournaments, including free tournaments with prizes, a console game room with various games to play from old to current systems, a crayon coloring zone for kids, panels and workshops, a viewing room showing game related content, a snack bar with affordable options (no $6 hot dogs here!), and a museum room with displays of rare gaming items and much more.

Sac Gamers Expo is on Sunday, Dec. 13from 10 a.m. to 5 p,m. at the Scottish Rite Center. The show is open to the public and prides itself on being a family-friendly environment. Admission at the door is $10 each (CASH ONLY AT THE DOOR!). Children 8 and under with paid adult are FREE.
