DIMETIX USA Launches Rockwell Automation Industrial Compatibility Program

CHESTER SPRINGS, Pa. - Nov. 20, 2015 - PRLog -- DIMETIX USA today launched a campaign to promote awareness among Rockwell Automation ENCOMPASS partners, authorized distributors, and integrators of the ability of Dimetix laser sensors to interface with Allen Bradley PLCs by way of an Ethernet/IP RSLogix sample code and support package. DIMETIX USA's industrial compaibility program is available at no additional cost and will promote the ease with which Dimetix laser distance sensors integrate with Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation CompactLogix and ControlLogix PLC products.

Dimetix lasers can be used for a variety of applications, such as level control, positioning, size, and displacement monitoring, and have been integrated with Allen Bradley PLC’s in automated warehouses, crane bays, mill roll lines, and at hydro facilities, just to name a few.  For several years, we have been supplying Dimetix lasers in conjunction with the appropriate hardware to communicate through Ethernet IP, SSI absolute encoder, analog, and serial communication protocols to Allen Bradley controllers.  We have also supplied RSLogix sample code to communicate with the lasers through Ethernet IP directly into tag names as support for this program.
