Follow on Google News | Yoga Lola's Studios Announces "Buy A Brick, Build A Studio" Fundraiser to Support Star of Hope & ThBy: Yoga Lola Studios "As a small local business with large expectations, we knew this expansion would be no small financial task so we are seeking support from our fast-growing, local wellness-conscious community," states co-owner Lola Scarborough. "However, with the belief in pay-it-forward philosophy, we also wanted to give back to the community in the process. Therefore, we decided to forward part of the donations to the non-profit Star of Hope who is dedicated in meeting the needs of homeless men, women and children throughout Houston region. It's a win-win-win for everyone." The Yoga Lola yoga bricks available come in a variety of colors and can be purchased at bit.ly/yogalola or at the Studio. The bricks are used for beginners where flexibility is a concern or for experienced yogis practicing to refine advanced moves. Participants are invited to decorate their yoga brick with inspiring sayings and images or to decorate it to their taste with craft materials available at the Studio. Purchasers who are clients of Yoga Lola are encouraged to donate the brick to the Studio for use in the classrooms as a way to “share” their message. The facility expansion includes adding 1,200 square feet to both the main and second floor of the existing self-standing building and allows for two new yoga/workshop studios, with one dedicated hot yoga studio and expanded training rooms. "We recently completed a 200-Hour Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Certification program and a 65-Hour Energy Mastery Course, which is the result of the increasing demand for alternative wellness,” explains co-owner Kevin Post. "Expanding our self-standing studio gives our patrons, as well as newcomers, more opportunities for additional types of yoga, meditation and nutrition, alternative wellness, and yoga training activities and programs that they are seeking in the southeast Houston/Galveston area." Yoga Lola Studios is located at corner of 1701 Highway 3 S, League City, Texas 77573.
