Cozy Cat Press Announces New Diane Weiner Book

This is the fifth outing for Weiner’s schoolteacher turned amateur sleuth Susan Wiles. In this adventure, when an escalating series of crimes threatens the teachers at Westbrook Developmental Preschool, Susan jumps in with both feet to help the police get to the bottom of it. After all, this is her granddaughter’s school! Then when a family member’s life is suddenly in jeopardy, and another family member is found to have been hiding a secret relationship, Susan realizes that dealing with her family problems and her crime solving are intertwined. Author Diane Weiner is a mother of four and a veteran public school teacher herself with a broad range of teaching experience. She has previously published several music education articles as well as a doctoral dissertation, but finds writing fiction to be much more fun. Westbrook, New York, the fictional setting of the Susan Wiles' Schoolhouse mysteries, bears remarkable similarities to the small town in upstate New York where Diane grew up. She currently resides in South Florida with her husband of many years, their youngest daughter, two cats, and a bisch-a-poo. When not writing, Diane enjoys long distance running and spending time with her family. Her previous Schoolhouse mysteries include Murder Is Elementary, Murder Is Secondary, Murder in the Middle, and Murder Is Private.
