PRLog -- Penn Emblem Company promoted Breast Cancer Awareness Month by encouraging employees to dress down and make a donation to the cause. Encouraging the employees to wear comfortable clothes in exchange for a donation added a fun sense of morale to our organization. In addition, all employees were given breast cancer awareness gifts such as pens, necklaces, etc. to show support even further. All donations were totaled and matched by Penn Emblem. Altogether, Penn Emblem raised a grand total of $2,760 for The Susan G. Komen Foundation. We’re proud to support our friends and family who have fought, are fighting or have survived this disease. Also, as a women owned business, it's important we support the female community to remain stronger as a unit. American Cancer Society estimates 231,840 new cases of invasive breast cancer in the year 2015. Penn Emblem hopes to continue helping the cause and hopes to grow its support even further for years to come. To learn how you can get involved, go to ww5.komen.org
