Santa Claus Visits Harvard Square

BOSTON - Nov. 12, 2015 - PRLog -- WHAT:          It’s the most wonderful time of the year! On Saturday, December 12^th, 2015 Santa Claus will be paying Harvard Square a special visit at Beat Brasserie for its third annual family-friendly Santa brunch from 10:00AM to 3:00PM.Guests of the Santa Brunch can count on amazing food and drink from Chef Ignacio Lopez, live holiday music from Alex Lee Clark, photo opportunities and mingling and jingling with the big man himself...Santa Claus!

The Beat’s acclaimed Executive Ignacio Lopez will serve a delicious selection of brunch fare such as wild flower honey & lemon pancakes ($14.00) and short rib eggs benedict served with a house salad ($15.50). For more lunch-like fare guests can opt for the all natural chicken club sandwich served with lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, Swiss cheese and lemon aioli ($16) or the Greek kale salad bowl with feta, whole grains, tomatoes, olives, cucumbers and pickled red onions with a choice of poached free range eggs ($17) with the optional additions of: blackbean & quinoa cake ($16), roasted all-natural shrimp ($18), free range chicken ($17), skirt steak ($22) or Faroe Island salmon ($18). Children can order scrumptious selections off the “Flower Children” menu including kiddie scrambled eggs & toast ($7.50), grilled cheese ($7.50), chocolate chip pancakes ($8), and chicken dinos & frites ($7.50).

While the little ones are running around with Santa, parents can sneak in one of The Beat’s hand-crafted cocktails such as the Smokey the Bear made with Rittenhouse Rye, Amere Nouvelle, Vya sweet Vermouth and Balcones Brimstone Whisky ($15.50) or the Something Natural with cilantro, Hanson cucumber vodka and lime ($12). Wine enthusiasts can warm up with one of Beat’s 36 artisanal American wines on tap all available in 2.5 oz, 5oz, or 12oz pours. Alex Lee Clark will get everyone in the holiday spirit with a live performance featuring a modern take on holiday tunes!
