SPOTSYLVANIA, Va. - Nov. 12, 2015 - PRLog -- The Van Cleve Seafood Co. today announced their launch into the southwest region of Whole Foods Market, expanding their gourmet seafood line into Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Louisiana.

The mother and double daughter Virginia-based team have found a niche with their made-by-hand seafood delicacies. Their line uses only the highest quality ingredients, with real seafood and no filler. Their famous Chesapeake Crab Pies are based upon a 200-year old recipe, which was handed down from a direct descendent of a cook at the historic Virginia Manor along the Potomac River.

"Our family business has stayed true to real seafood, real quality and real ingredients made by real people,” said daughter and CEO, Monica Van Cleve. "After proving success in the Whole Foods Market Mid-Atlantic Region, expansion to the Southwest was a logical next step.”

The Southwest region will offer The Van Cleve Seafood Co. signature blue crab pies and scallop and bacon phyllo cups in their ready-to-eat marketplace.

The rollout into the Whole Foods Market Southwest Region will occur in time for the holiday season. This announcement comes on the heels of other recent company highlights, including the serving of the award-winning pies at the Virginia Governor’s Mansion on October 20th.
