Thanksgiving Dinner at Alta Lodge

Spend the day skiing at Alta with family instead of cooking dinner
 
SALT LAKE CITY - Nov. 10, 2015 - PRLog -- Alta, UT— What could be better on Thanksgiving than skiing Alta with family and friends?  Thanksgiving dinner at Alta Lodge, prepared by Chef Sam Wolfe and his staff, featuring some special dishes this season.

    This year the Lodge will serve a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, beginning with two untraditional appetizers: ahi tuna crostini and blistered shishito peppers. A wild mushroom consommé and a salad of mixed greens with roasted beets, spiced pepitas and orange chipotle vinaigrette follows. The main course is slow roasted small farm organic turkey with wild rice apricot dressing, cranberry and pan gravy and fried Brussels sprouts. The vegetarian entrée will be sweet potato shepherd’s pie.  Dinner concludes with pumpkin ginger pie or bourbon pecan pie. Full beverage service is available.

Dinner is served from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. The price is $45 for adults, $20 for children ages 7-12 and $12 for ages 4-6, plus tax and 15% service charge.  For reservations, please call 801-742-3500.
