IKM presents Organica on PopRiot Music Group out now and climbing up the charts

WASHINGTON - Nov. 10, 2015 - PRLog -- Ian Kaine MacGregor began recording music at 13. Armed with a cheap synth and a passion for music, he devoted all of his time to developing his talent as a musician and songwriter. After playing with a few garage bands, IKM formed the electro pop band, 23RAINYDAYS. Influenced by The Cure and New Order, the band toured the US and performed with national acts The Violent Femmes, Kill Hannah, Guided by Voices, and more.

At the height of their success, the band was named a breakout artist by MTV and were featured in the Mick Mercer book Music to Die For. When the band ended in 2012, IKM co-founded PopRiot Music Group and began writing and producing music for PopRiot’s roster of acts. His production work and songwriting can be heard on MTV, ESPN, and in Forever21 stores nationwide.

In November 2015, IKM began working on his first solo release. The result is 'Organica', a collection of ambient electronic instrumentals filled with a heavy dose of synthetic realism. The album is currently charting at #3 in the Top 10 Electronic Pop Releases on Beatport.
