Since 1972, Long Beach Rescue Mission has served the needs of the hungry and homeless in the greater Long Beach area. In addition to providing food and shelter, the Long Beach Rescue Mission offers rehabilitation programs, spiritually based counseling, education and job skills classes as well as transitional housing. Dine LBC - Long Beach Restaurant Week is an annual event where dozens of local restaurants in nearly every community of the city will offer value-oriented, 3-course meals set at one of four price points: $20, $30, $40 or $50. In addition to attracting Southern California "foodies," Dine LBC opens the doors for those who view dining out as a luxury to explore local culinary destinations.
