BERLIN - Nov. 9, 2015 - PRLog -- NJMED’s World Top 20 Project is supporting countries in Europe, South America, North America and the Middle East that are securing, a safe learning environment for children and their families.

NJMED plan calls for developing a support system for a network of organizations, civic groups, and universities in Europe, were thousands of refugees that have overwhelmed European nations as they flee war-torn Syria. Aid is needed to face the real challenges of integrating these students and family into a new language, culture and most importantly, social services from many have been traumatized by war and other harsh experiences.

Starting this month thru May 2016, NJMED will be working towards expanding its network partnerships in Europe.  NJMED’s first initiative will focus on supporting Universities in the response to the needs of international NGOs like Doctors Without Borders, the International Rescue Committee, Save the Children, and the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, to help provide clothing, food, bottle water, and school supplies to students and family members, at refugee schools and community social support centers.

NJMED’s Executive Director, Mr. Albert Mitchell said, “We hope to link two thousand college students, their University’s Community relation’s departments, and former alumnus with local NGOs working with the refugees. This is not a new thing; we’ve been facing the relocation of children for over the last three years. It’s one of four of our major focus efforts of the World Top 20 Project to ensure every child can learn and develop in a safe environment.”

With support from businesses like Google and social media platforms, NJMED hopes to establish a blueprint to support countries that take in refugee children and their families. For more information on how you can participate and help, please visit  http://worldtop20.org/refugee-support
