LOS ANGELES - Nov. 6, 2015 - PRLog -- It is the season of giving and the Los Angeles Urban League in partnership with Dawnn Lewis’s production company, Morning Jewel Inc., are gathering the entertainment community for an enjoyable night of giving back with a unique entertainment experience on Sunday December 13, 2015 at the state-of-the-art Saban Theatre 8440 Wilshire Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA 90211 at 7pm. “A New Day: Concert for a Cause” is a lively night of music and charity which will bring together dozens of entertainment’s top performers in the music, film, comedy, dance, and television industries to benefit The K.I.S. Foundation, Inc., EmpowHER and the Los Angeles Urban League charities.

Hosted by multi-BMI, NAACP and GRAMMY Award winning Actress/Singer Dawnn Lewis and Super Bowl XLV & Dancing with The Stars Champion Donald Driver, the charitable extravaganza will be a memorable evening of philanthropic performances by the amazing Doug E. Fresh, Erica Campbell & Euge Groove. Multi-GRAMMY Award winner Patrice Rushen will sit at the helm as the Music Director of an All-Star band plus Broadway star Jeffrey Polk will serve as the event's director.

All performers and celebrity friends have graciously donated their time to benefit the urban community and to celebrate non-profit organizations, The K.I.S. Foundation, Inc., EmpowHER and the Los Angeles Urban League, who are dedicated to directly impact their communities. There will be something for everyone as attendees will be treated to some of the industry’s best performers including special performances by invited artists: Mali Music, Chris Spencer, Angie Fisher, Kiki Shepard, Sinbad, Kim Coles, Dule' Hill, Chris Hayzel, Lisa Vidal, Jason George, Tone Loc, Salli Richardson-Whitfield, Dondre' T. Whitfield, Erica Ash, Satori Stone, Malcom Jamal Warner, Jim Pickens Jr., Tracie Thoms, Lamman Rucker, Tyrel Jackson Williams, Tylen Jacob Williams and many more!
