Cincy Chic Hosts Fashionable, Philanthropic “Holiday Glam” Event Dec. 4

CINCINNATI - Nov. 4, 2015 - PRLog -- The holidays are busy. That’s why one upcoming event is giving local ladies an opportunity to shop, pamper and give back all in one night.

Cincy Chic, an online publication for women in Greater Cincinnati, is hosting its fifth-annual Holiday Glam Fashion Show Friday, December 4 from 6-9pm at the Mitchell’s Salon & Day Spa in Kenwood.  The fun and festive event is open to the public and free to enter with a coat donation to St. Vincent de Paul. Entry includes swag bag, refreshments, and styling consultations as well as discounted shopping with seven local businesses.

St. Vincent de Paul is a non-profit organization that provides for the needs of low-income families in Cincinnati. “The holidays are such a busy time for St. Vincent de Paul”, says Kristen Klein, Director of Community Relations for St. Vincent de Paul. “The coats we collect [at Holiday Glam] will be put to use immediately. We know that guests at any Cincy Chic event are so generous and thoughtful in their contributions.”

Mitchell’s Salon & Day Spa has been a proud partner of this event for the past five years. “Mitchell’s has always been a philanthropic company, giving back to our local community whenever we can,” says Logan Schmidt, marketing director at Mitchell’s Salon and Day Spa. “Cincy Chic, too, shares this vision and it’s wonderful to partner for a beauty-filled evening to celebrate women and benefiting St. Vincent de Paul as a result.”
